2.4G Active Smart Student ID Card Solution
In early 2024, China’s Ministry of Education issued guidelines restricting student mobile phones on campus and encouraging schools to provide alternative communication methods — such as 2.4G active electronic student ID cards — to meet parent–student contact needs while maintaining classroom focus.
Solution Overview
The system consists of:
Student Card (powered by SI24R2E 2.4G active tag)
2.4G Reader + Antenna (gate-mounted)
Smart Terminal (data gateway)
When a student wearing the card passes through designated school gate zones (A→B or B→A), real-time arrival/departure data is instantly sent via 2.4G → 485 → GSM/broadband/SMS to parents, teachers, and the campus management platform.

Key Advantages
Home Arrival Reminder – Auto-detects when student reaches home; alerts if late
Danger Zone Alert – Warns guardians if student lingers near reservoirs, mountains, etc.
Police Missing-Person Support – One-click city-wide search using base stations and police PDAs
In-School Analytics – Auto attendance, interest tracking, intelligent departure detection
