The nRF54L05, alongside the nRF54L15 and nRF54L10, forms the nRF54L series. All SoCs in this series integrate an ultra-low-power multi-protocol 2.4 GHz radio and MCU functionality, featuring a 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor and a comprehensive set of peripherals. The series offers various package and memory size options with pin-compatible QFN packages.

The nRF54L05 is suited for products using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Bluetooth Mesh, Thread, Zigbee, and proprietary 2.4 GHz protocols. It has the smallest memory option in the series, with 0.5 MB non-volatile memory (NVM) and 96 KB RAM, optimized for cost-sensitive applications. The nRF54L10 and nRF54L15 support additional features and protocols.
