OM6629 — Bluetooth Low Energy and 2.4 GHz Proprietary SoC

12/15/2025

The OM6629 is a power-optimized true System-on-Chip (SoC) solution for Bluetooth Low Energy and proprietary 2.4 GHz applications. It integrates a high-performance, low-power RF transceiver, Bluetooth baseband, and extensive peripheral I/O expansion. The OM6629 also includes a power management unit (PMU) for efficient power management. It targets 2.4 GHz Bluetooth Low Energy systems, proprietary 2.4 GHz systems, human interface devices (keyboards, mice, and remotes), sports and leisure equipment, mobile accessories, and consumer electronics products.

The on-chip Bluetooth system is compatible with version 5.4. The chip integrates a high-performance MCU up to 96 MHz, DMA, GPIO, SPI, UART, timers, watchdog, supports 32 MHz external crystal, and includes a versatile up to 12-bit ADC. The OM6629 features 256 KB on-chip SRAM, 512-bit EFUSE, and supports user-defined IDE on-chip SFLASH MCU development as well as JTAG software upgrades.
